Shipping Information
We ship to more than 120 countries worldwide! Best of all, our unique shipping rate is a flat rate, and NOT per item! You can order as many items as you like and pay a single shipping fee!
Our shipping options:
- Correos - Registered mail (3-5 weeks)
- DHL - 3-5 days
Customs clearence to be borne by the buyer
Standard airmail shipments usually arrive within 14-21 business days. All packages are insured. Our standard shipping option is usually fast for the US, most of Asia, Europe and the UK.

*Standard airmail shipments to many countries may take longer than usual, including Canada (up to 12 weeks), South Africa, Israel, Italy, Great Britain, and Malta (30 days), Mexico, Central and South America (45-60 days), Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Islands, British and US Virgin Islands, French Polynesia, and Tahiti (8-10 weeks).

Package tracking is not available for many countries, but the service is very reliable and packages are insured against loss or damage in the rare cases where they are lost.
Availability
All gems are in stock and ready for immediate shipment. Orders are processed within 1 business day, Monday through Friday (excluding Spanish holidays). If you wish to cancel an order before it is shipped, please email us as soon as possible after the order has been placed. If you wish to cancel after the order has been shipped, you may return it for a refund.
Customs duties and import taxes
In many countries properly declared shipments may be subject to customs charges and taxes. Standard mail takes longer, but typically avoids additional charges. We are happy to ship by express mail, but please note that we have no control over import taxes that may occur in your country. Import taxes, customs duties and/or tariffs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please see our international shipping page for more information.
For countries outside the EEC a tax identification number is required to ship by DHL, as requested by customs.
Invoices
If you need a custom invoice or no invoice at all, please contact us by email before or immediately after placing your order.
LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If you receive a package with damaged packaging, do not accept the package! Reject delivery, make a report with the courier, and contact us immediately!
If you have already signed or received the package, please do not open it. Take several photos of the outside of the package and email them to us at info@whynotgems.com. This will allow us to help you return the items for exchange or refund, or we can help you decide whether to open the package while providing evidence of the condition of the product(s). In most cases, items are very well packaged and do not suffer damage.
If you do not receive your standard economy airmail order within 30 working days, please contact us so that we can open a complaint at the post office. If the notification of lost package results in its confirmation as a loss, we will be happy to offer full refunds or replacement items if available. Orders are processed through local post offices within 7-14 days as our post office must contact your post office. Please note that if your country is listed as one of the countries for which we have 30 to 60 days, we cannot offer replacements or refunds until 60 days have passed. RETURNS
Whatever the reason, you can always return the items and you don't need to provide any explanation. To do this you have 14 days from the moment you receive it. We will refund your purchase in full (or partial if you return part of the purchase) at the time we receive your package.
The shipping costs of your return and the shipping itself will be borne by the buyer.
Items must be in perfect condition without marks and in the original packaging they were shipped. In case of gems sealed by laboratory they will have to have the seal intact, in case of arriving opened, the buyer will have to pay 25 euros of resealing by the laboratory.
